  • How do I know what health insurance policy to choose?

    We will ask you a series of questions and will advise you based on your answers what policy best suits your needs.

  • I have pre-existing conditions, will your policy cover me?

    If you have cover in place already we will match you up as near as possible with your existing cover in order for you to have the cover you need with us.  Please note that waiting periods may arise should the cover we give you be better than the cover you had to date.  If you are buying a health insurance policy for the first time you will have a number of waiting periods to serve.

  • How do I check if I am covered for a procedure?

    You can call us here in Acorn Insurance and we will take information regarding this and will confirm cover on your behalf with Irish Life Health.

  • Can you check if I have scan cover?

    You can call us here in Acorn Insurance and we will take information regarding this and will confirm cover on your behalf with Irish Life Health.

  • How do I make a claim?

    You can call us or contact us at Acorn Insurance and we will take your claim notification and send to Irish Life Health on your behalf.  If you wish you can also contact Irish Life Health to make a claim directly.  The fastest way of making a claim is online through the Irish Life Health member area, you’ll need your policy number and member number to sign up.

  • How can I pay for my health insurance?

  • Setting Up or Accessing My Acorn Account

    In order to create an account/access the MY ACORN INSURANCE portal you will require your policy number, phone number and email address which must match what Acorn Insurance has on file for you. If you have issues with creating/accessing your account please contact our customer care team.
